Swift does not guarantee continuous assignment availability or specific income levels. Assignment opportunities are subject to client demand and contractor performance.
3. Eligibility and Registration
3.1 Age and Legal Requirements
- You must be at least 21 years of age
- You must have legal authorization to work in Australia
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- You must maintain updated contact information and payment details
3.2 Technical Requirements
- Reliable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for freelance assignments
- Computer, tablet, or smartphone capable of accessing our platform
- Basic proficiency in English for communication and task completion
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
3.3 Registration Process

4. Independent Contractor Relationship
Important: All assignments performed through Swift's platform are on an independent contractor basis. You are not an employee of Swift or its clients.

- You are an independent contractor, not an employee
- You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and benefits
- You have control over when, where, and how you complete assigned tasks
- You may work for other platforms or clients simultaneously
- Swift does not provide employment benefits, superannuation, or other employee entitlements
4.2 Tax Responsibilities
As an independent contractor in Australia, you are responsible for:

- Suspend or terminate accounts for consistent poor performance
7. Compensation and Payment
7.1 Payment Rates
Payment rates vary by assignment type and complexity, typically ranging from AU$16-27 per hour for various assignments. Rates are communicated before task acceptance and may be adjusted based on:
- Assignment difficulty and requirements
- Contractor experience and performance
- Client budget and market conditions
- Volume and consistency of assignments
7.2 Payment Terms
- Payments are processed weekly or bi-weekly as specified
- Payment methods include direct deposit (Australian bank accounts), PayPal, or other approved methods
- Minimum payment thresholds may apply
- Payment processing may take 3-5 business days
- All payments are made in Australian dollars (AUD)
7.3 Payment Disputes
Payment disputes must be reported within 30 days of the payment date. Swift will investigate and resolve disputes fairly and promptly in accordance with Australian consumer protection laws.
8. Intellectual Property

This confidentiality obligation continues indefinitely, even after termination of your account.
10. Termination
10.1 Termination by Contractor
You may terminate your account at any time by providing written notice to Swift. Outstanding payments for completed assignments will be processed according to standard payment terms.
10.2 Termination by Swift
Swift may terminate accounts immediately for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Poor assignment quality or performance
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Breach of confidentiality
- Extended inactivity
10.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, you must cease all platform use and return any confidential materials. Surviving provisions include confidentiality, intellectual property, and limitation of liability clauses.
11. Limitation of Liability

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
